Rules
Here's how to stay in line
1) League Structure
- Every clan in the League has to play against every other clan in their division once per Season.
- Every clan in the League has to play one (1) match per week.
- Match dates are agreed upon between clans and must be played by the Sunday at the end of each respective week.
2) Match procedure
A match is played 4on4 and using the Best of 3 format. Maps are decided as follows:
- When two clans have scheduled a match this must be reported to the BiBS crew, if no date has been scheduled one will be forced. THIS RULE IS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
- Matches must be scheduled on Wednesday latest (Matches can still be played up to Sunday unless a dispensation has been given). THIS RULE IS EFFECTIVE FROM WEEK 2 ONWARDS
- Both clans choose map. Its randomly set on the BiBS page who's map gonna be played first.
- If a 3rd map got to be played the clan with most caps can decides who starts eliminating. If both clans are equal on caps 1 player of each clan got to pummel with 100/100 health/armor. The winner can chose who's first with eliminating the map.
- The maps which has already been played cant be chosen again.
After the match, at least 1 player from each team has to send a demo from each map played to League Orga.
3) Mappool
Troubled Waters (ctf2), Stronghold (ctf3), Ironworks (ctf7), Siberia (ctf8), Courtyard Conundrum (ctf10).
4) Point System
Points are awarded after matches, using the following system:
- 2 points per map win
Example
Match Result = Team A (2 - 1) Team B
Team A Points = 4
Team B Points = 2
5) Overtime (Sudden Death)
Allowed for as long as it takes.
6) No-shows
- 1 wild-card for every team per season.
- The wild-card has to be taken BEFORE your the arranged match time
- After 2 def-losses your clan will be removed from the season.
7) Drop outs & Removals
- If a team drops from the league during a season, all matches played vs them are deleted.
- All points previously won from these deleted matches are removed from the standings table.
8) Roster changes
- Changes of the clan roster are only allowed until the 3rd match week.
- It is not allowed to move players between clans for them to be able to play for a multitude of clans, if a player is on one clan's roster he/she can only play for that clan during the current match week. It is also not allowed to move between clans on a regular basis (i.e. for the purpose of playing half the games for one clan and half the games for another clan). Admins will determine when a player is moved in an abusive way and offenses may lead to the player and/or one or both clans getting banned
9) Cheating and getting spanked!
- Fakers are not allowed, playing under another nickname than you are known as will result in a ban - if 2 or more players in the same team use fake accounts the whole team will be banned from playing - may affect upcoming seasons too if deemed necessary (even if players use real nicks in that season). THIS RULE IS EFFECTIVE FROM APRIL 7 ONWARDS!
- All players must record demos and keep them throughout the season plus 31 days after. Other teams may request demos from another clan up to 31 days after a match between the two clans has taken place provided that a valid match protest has been given to BiBS admins within these 31 days. The BiBS admins decide if the protest is valid (this is to not have protests made just for the sake of getting demos but rather when a well grounded cheat suspicion exists). THIS RULE IS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
- If any form of cheating is proved, the given player is banned from the season, and his/her team's score is reset to 0 pts.
- Yellow cards for massive flaming which leads to a red card if the same player does continue with the insults/flame.
- Red cards mean the players is not allowed to play the next match for his clan.
- Admins may ask for demos outside of actual BiBS matches (screening) before the season has started, any players asked must provide a demo to not get barred from the league
10) Notes
A dispute that cannot be settled easily demands both clans in dispute to attend a "court hearing" on IRC, the admins will decide a date and if one clan fails to show up it will result in a default loss for a game if that's the dispute or possibly even a ban if the accusations are of that nature and can be proven.
"Bring it Back Safely" League lasts for a period of time called a "Season". The duration of a Season depends on the amount of teams taking part in BiBS. At the end of the Season, the team that is leading on the Scoreboard is the winning team. In case of a tie, the tied clans duel it out in a Bo3 Final Match. PotS (Player of the Season) award is given out to one player from any clan, and the next Season starts, with all teams having a score of 0 points.
11) Admin decisions
- All decisions made by admins are final.
- Situations between two clans not covered by the above rules will be worked out together with an admin and the two clans in dispute. Again these decisions are final.
